Join RMFI for a day of giving back to one of Colorado Springs most treasured landscapes – the Garden of the Gods. Led by trained RMFI staff and crew leaders, volunteers will complete trail maintenance projects and rogue trail closure and restoration. This is moderate to strenuous work and requires some heavy lifting.
We all love this amazing park that provides a spectacular backdrop for our city. However, with 1.7 million visitors in a mere 1,300 acres, this park needs all hands on deck to keep its trails in good shape and to protect its sensitive ecosystem. Work will focus on the North Gateway area, close to the ‘gateway’ and main parking area.
- Minimum age 16, or 13 if accompanying a parent volunteer.
