April 6th Pikes Peak Earth Day partners kick off the month at The Big Cool Science Festival. Come to the Northeast corner of Colorado College campus outside and inside at
Barnes Science Center and Olin Hall from 11am-3pm.
We’ll have over 25 interactive, sustainable hands-on activities from our many community partners. Cool Science will have science shows at 11, 1, and 3 inside Olin Hall auditorium. Check out the Magnificant Oz room!, rocket launching, find out if the Colorado River really does flow to the sea, – all kinds of cool stuff! Enjoy our many community partners such as Catamount Institute, The Flying Carrot, Colorado Mountain Club, UpaDowna, Mobile Music Project, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Bear Creek and Fountain Creek Nature Centers, and MORE!!
We encourage using green transportation: walk, carpool, take the bus or ride your bike and park in the free bike valet! You may want to park out in the neighborhoods then walk or bike in to the festival location.
